The first, and most important modules have already been integrated and form a powerful working combination.

• SugarCRM is the leading Open Source CRM platform, with great front office coverage. It also forms an excellent stable and rapid development environment for customisations and special wishes. configuring Sugar CRM is much quicker than modifying the JBilling GUI.
• OpenRate is a carrier grade telecommunications rating engine, with very high performance and flexibility.
• JBilling is a billing engine with a great feature set.

Putting these three components together in a single integrated package gives a great synergy:

• It builds on the wide spread and much loved SugarCRM interface and front office coverage. Sugar CRM is quick and easy to work with, but it has no billing or rating capability.
• OpenRate is a leading mediation and rating engine, but does not cover billing capability.
• It makes best use of JBilling's functionality and strengths (fully featured billing), and mitigates it's weaknesses (tough GUI customisation - mitigated by SugarCRM, poor traffic rating capability and no mediation capability - mitigated by OpenRate.).
