Open BSS is first and foremost a business, selling expertize in selecting, integrating, maintaining and supporting BSS systems created around Open Source components.

Secondly, we have an interest in the Open Source market as a new, potentially paradigm changing software model, and promote it where we are able to with a good conscience that the Open Source offering in question has a sufficient level of maturity and stability to allow you to run your business on it. Many Open Source sites promise much, but in reality offer relatively little, either because the governance of the project is not managed correctly, or because the software itself is not of a sufficient quality.

The services we offer therefore are:
* Select, vet and evaluate the Open Source software offerings available
* Create a reference architecture, covering a sensible median of business requirements
* Offer consulting services around this reference architecture
* Offer implementation services, in order to implement and customize the reference architecture for your business
* Offer support services on implementations created by us, or also for implementations created by others
* Offering Service Agreements to agreed SLAs, in order that you can be sure that your system will keep running
